Appointment of New Officers
Following a very positive start to year and 2 committee meetings, the committee are delighted to say that the planning for this year’s 2025 contest is well underway, with the music having been published on 9th January and an announcement on this year’s adjudication to follow very soon along with some more exciting news.
We are pleased to announce the primary vacant positions have been filled and our newly appointed officers are:
Contest Promoter – Matthew Rowe
Secretary – Danni Slater
Treasurer – Barbara Barnes
The committee also welcomed new members in Rob Faro, Helen Hancock, Carol Stanlake and Shane Solomon.
The WEBF committee would like to sincerely give our thanks to the tremendous amount of support we have received from everyone near and far that has allowed us to keep the contest going this year.
Whilst the officers positions have been filled, volunteers are always greatly appreciated whether that is an interest in joining the committee or offering time helping with the set up of the contest, from the tea tent, contest field prep or anytime else inbetween, please email promoter@buglebandcontest.co.uk to register if you’d like to support / volunteer.
